I’ve already been to, worked, studied, or lived in parts of every colored “line” on this map.† I certainly enjoy being a global citizen and definitely feel like one. But I also look forward to a day where I can just pick one place and settle there. I don’t really care if this sounds lame when coming from a global dweller; the fact is I frequently miss the feeling of taking root somewhere, wherever that might be. That doesn’t mean I will ever stop traveling or start living a non-diverse life, but just that I will have a place that I can call home.
On that note, I would like to ask you…
† The original version of the map by Mark Ovenden. I made only minor modifications on it.
Hello there. I necessary to inquire some thing…is this a wordpress web site as we are thinking about transferring across to WP. Moreover did you make this theme all by yourself? Cheers.
It’s my own domain, using WP’s tools and platform. I didn’t do the theme but designed the site myself.
I think it’s from Mark Ovenden’s Transit Maps of The World – http://www.markovenden.com/
Thanks Michel. It seems like it. I will update the footnote to include the proper credit.
